Context:

The test process is a crucial aspect of software development. The result of testing depends on the used test method.
TPI NEXT® takes a good look at the test process used by an organization. It provides insight into the maturity of test organizations and provides a step-by-step plan toward improvement, regardless the test method that is being used. The business drivers are key and developments such as Agile, outsourcing, multiple test processes and end-to-end testing are taken into account.
When applying TPI NEXT®, the cost of testing will be lower, the time for testing will be shorter and the quality of the test processes will be higher.

Candidates are being tested on the following topics:

1. Positioning testing and TPI NEXT® (5%).

2. Elements of the TPI NEXT® model for Measuring (40%).

3. Elements of the TPI NEXT® model for Improvements (40%).

4. Business Driven Improvement (15%).
